A health and fitness challenge during the holidays?
HELL YEAH, because I don’t want to regret more pounds and less muscle in January.
We don’t need stats to know we need to be healthier and it needs to happen now.
We don’t need stats to tell us we need a good support system to kick our ass into being healthier daily.
It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon and baby, we firewives are in for the marathon right?
We put ourselves last on the agenda because we have kids, we have a career, we have family to take care of and the FF is out saving lives. Our needs don’t hold a candle to others. DUDE, they can’t save lives if you are so sick you can’t take care of those kids and/or yourself. They will have to be home with you. They can’t be out saving lives if you put yourself in the hospital and the stress hurts their work performance.
YOU are and always should be a priority. It’s sad I have to type that, but it’s for my mindset as well. YOU and I must always be a priority.
The Challenge is going to start on Sunday November 19th and run through January 7th
The requirement is you come into the challenge ready to do work. Work on your body and work on your soul. Work on your food and work on your mindset. If you know me, you know I like to balance out any negative. Joining this challenge will be worthless if you aren’t ready to put some work in. I’ll have daily workouts created for the beginner to intermediate. I figure advanced girls probably already have their workouts figured out, but hey, if you join I’ll figure out a way to kick your ass too 😉

About me & my qualifications for running this challenge
Well, I’m honest as all get out and here is where you get to see me at my most honest. I know my shit and even if I’m not personal training at this time, I still research said shit.
I’m a personal trainer by trade. I have my degree. It’s what I did 27/7/365 for years.
I’m a high school track coach and we’ve taken multiple kids to state for the four years I’ve been there. I understand goals and periodization in workouts. I’m also US Track and Field certified.
But, I allowed life to sneak in and take moments. Then I let it creep in and take more sizable moments. Then I let my emotions completely rule what I ate and the fact that I didn’t exercise. The pounds have followed suit as you know they will.
I’ve been in surgery induced early menopause since 2013 that has my hormones in constant fluctuation at only 44. We lost my FIL less than a year ago. We became emptynesters, wait no we aren’t, he moved back home. WE GOT A DAMN PUPPY! Holy freaking midlife crisis.
Those are just my own excuses for why I’m unhealthy. You can bring your own excuses and tell me if you’d like, but believe me, I’ve heard them or used them before and I’ll tell you so.
We are going to spend 50 days battling our excuses together.
Please don’t join the group if you want to follow fad diets or be pampered to. I will ask hard questions and I only speak the truth about what I’ve researched.
