In case you have been living under a rock, the new planes movie came out this weekend. This one is Planes: Fire and Rescue and is about wildland.
Disney has a knack for coming out with movies that document times with the kids. This one is more so than normal. The gurl started working for the state as a wildland firefighter about 6 weeks ago.
She hasn't been deployed yet but I'm as ready as I can be for that to happen. The eastern side of Washington is literally on fire at this time. They are waiting for the other rig in their station to get back from deployment and then they will go out.
Anyway, not the topic of this discussion.
This is a disney movie and I figured no one from work would want to go. I know she wants to see it so I asked her if she'd like to go. She said,”I would like to go with work people so they can understand the jokes better.”
Broken hearted.
Sigh, I get it and it's true, it will be more fun if she doesn't have to explain why somethings funny to me lol BUT, hey, how am I not going to get a lot of the humor? Little girl, your Dad has been a firefighter for 14 years now. He has his red card and they do stuff around here. He hasn't gone out on a deployment. BUT two the guys he was hired on are heavy into wildland. Think I haven't picked up a few things over the years?
Twerp
One day she'll learn to go when we ask, just so she doesn't have to pay. But for now she wants to be the adult. {big sigh}
Lots of adjustments going on but the least she could have done was go to the damn cartoon with me lol I took the boy to see The Purge 2 instead 😉
